Berry Micro Smoothie

These smoothies are a great way to start the day and they make a wonderful snack. They are hydrating, full of greens, and packed with nutrients.

 

1 oz frozen or fresh microgreens (recommend broccoli or salad mix)

1.5 oz Spinach

6 oz. Frozen Strawberries

3 oz. Frozen Blueberries

1 tbsp chia

1 pitted Medjool date

1-2 cups water

 

Add to blender, mix, and enjoy!

 

Notes:

Substitute any plant-based milk for a creamier smoothie: almond, oat, or soy milk. Use less water/milk if you like your smoothies thicker/frozen. Use more water if you like your smoothies more juice-like.

You can substitute any type of plant-based fat: flaxseed, hemp seeds, avocado, peanut butter

You can also substitute spinach for kale... or more microgreens!
